About this notice

Animula Digital, LLC is an Oregon creative and digital services business. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit animuladigital.com or contact us about our services.

It covers this website and initial inquiries. A client project may involve additional tools, information, and access arrangements, which are addressed separately when we agree on the work.

Information we receive

  • Information you send us. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as your name, business name, website address, project details, contact information, and attachments.
  • Website connection information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information to deliver and protect the website. This may include your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, request times, and security or traffic data.

The contact and quote buttons open your email app. This website currently has no online contact form, customer account registration, or checkout.

Please avoid including passwords, payment card details, or other highly sensitive information about yourself, your business, or your customers or clients in an initial inquiry.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, understand a proposed project, prepare quotes, communicate about agreed work, and maintain related business records. Hosting and security information helps keep the website available and protect it from misuse. We may also retain or use information to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute.

Service providers and sharing

We use Cloudflare for website hosting, security, and email forwarding, Microsoft for our Outlook.com mailbox, and SMTP2GO to send outgoing business email. Our email providers process message contents, attachments, sender and recipient addresses, and delivery information as needed to provide their services.

We use Thunderbird on our devices to read, compose, and manage email. The app may store local copies of messages and attachments.

More information about these services and tools is available in their privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • Microsoft Privacy Statement
  • SMTP2GO Privacy Policy
  • Thunderbird Privacy Notice

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, security, or others.

We do not sell personal information received through this website or inquiries, or provide it to third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and website activity

We may review basic traffic and performance information available through Cloudflare to understand website use and performance. We do not use this website's visitor information for targeted advertising.

Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies for security and traffic management, depending on the protections in use. See Cloudflare's cookie information. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some security features.

This website does not change its behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. If our tools or data practices change, we will update this notice and provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and business records for as long as needed to handle the request or project, maintain appropriate business records, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Retention depends on the information and the purpose for which it was received.

Our email providers may also retain message data and delivery records under their own retention policies.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No email system, website, or storage service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You choose what to include when contacting us. To ask about information you have provided, request access, a correction, or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email hello@animuladigital.com.

We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We may also need to keep certain records for legal or legitimate business purposes. Any additional privacy rights and our response obligations depend on the laws that apply to your request.

Other websites and children

Links to client websites, platforms, or other external resources take you to independently operated services. Their privacy practices apply when you use them.

Our services are intended for businesses and adults, and this website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.

Updates and contact

We will post revisions here and update the date above. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
